Job Summary:
The Off-premise Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and brand awareness for the brand in the designated territory. This individual will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key accounts for off-premise (liquor stores, retail outlets, etc.), to achieve sales targets and expand the brand’s presence.
Ideal Profile:
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and aggressive self-starter with 1-2 years of relevant professional experience within the Wine and Spirits Industry. They must currently reside in the DFW Metroplex. A Passion for premium spirits is essential. The candidate should be capable of working independently, managing multiple accounts, and driving sales performance through strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience, preferably in consumer goods, or combination of sales-specific education/curriculum, internship experience or professional sales certification
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- A valid driver's license
- Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
- Strong planning & organizational skills
- Willingness to Travel
- Must be able to obtain a relevant permit in any state
- Must be able to personally pay or charge ordinary and necessary business expenses that will be timely reimbursed
- Proficiency using basic office tools (Excel, Word etc)
- Standing for an extended period of time
- Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 35-50 pounds without assistance
- Ascend or descend stairs
- Ability to drive and visit multiple accounts in one day
- Strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
- The Market Development Representative will focus on driving sales and promoting our brands to retail partners including retailers and food and beverage establishments and interact with consumers in tastings and promotional events.
- This role will build brands, maximize distribution and be the main point of contact for both primarily off-premise accounts in the designated territory. At times the role may participate in on-premise activations as a secondary responsibility.

- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Conduct product presentations, tastings, and promotional events to educate retailers and their staff about our brands
- Build and develop relationships with retail partners, understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service
- Capture data and report to management information that demonstrates the impact of sales and promotion efforts
- Negotiate shelf placements, displays, and promotional opportunities to maximize visibility and sales
- Ensures the correct products and standards are delivered to customers in a timely manner and serves as the communication lead between key customers, wholesalers and internal teams
- Use consultative selling to show retailers the value of buying deeper to realize cost savings which support gross profit margins and competitive shelf pricing
- Representing the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities
