Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Lead to oversee our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. The Team Lead will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, ensuring team productivity, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production workers to achieve daily goals and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Coordinate daily production schedules, ensuring optimal workflow and resource allocation.
- Monitor production metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure all products meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Promote a culture of safety within the team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- Conduct safety training and maintain compliance with OSHA and other safety standards.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between management and team members.
- Report on team performance, production issues, and any necessary resource needs to upper management.
- Identify operational challenges and work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
