Dynavac is in search of an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team at our Hingham, MA location. The person in this role examines incoming, in-process products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications. Overall, the Quality Inspector examines products according to customer and company requirements, following blueprints, specific job specifications, and oral and other written specifications. The role reports to Dynavac's Quality Manager.
The successful candidate will have solid experience in an ISO 9001 : 2015 or similar Quality Management System.
Dynavac is an engineering and manufacturing company located in Hingham MA with an additional facility in Rockland MA. We design and build custom high vacuum process capital equipment for a range of applications that include aerospace testing and thin film coatings.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Plans inspection procedures, following specifications and using knowledge gained by experience.
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products.
- Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify product dimensions and quality.
- Accepts or rejects finished items.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data or results into quality databases.
- Identify and report non-conformities and work with production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with quality standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Supports on strengthening the Quality Management System of Dynavac.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in quality control or a related field is preferred.Proven experience as an inspector or quality control technician in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production teams.Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.Familiar with metal fabrication, and welding.BENEFITS
