Dynavac is in search of a reliable, energetic CDL Licensed Driver to temporarily fill our role as Route Driver. Dynavac has two facilities, Hingham and Rockland Massachusetts. This is a day shift role.
Our Temporary Route Driver will be responsible be delivering material between Dynavac facilities in for a twice-per-day sweep to move completed assemblies between our Hingham and Rockland Facilities. Externally, Route Driver is responsible for pickup and delivery of Dynavac Sub Assemblies with local suppliers, including some relatively large loads. Route Driver is an ambassador for Dynavac and is responsible for ensuring transported goods arrive safely and on schedule.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Manage Routes and Routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible
- Ensure freight is loaded safely for transport
- Move material internally between Dynavac Facilitates, on / off load the truck
- Load / unload / secure cargo safely and appropriately for the load and distance traveled
- Operate a fork truck as required
- Perform basic computer transactions in our business system (Dynavac will provide training)
- Complete a daily truck log and submit mileage report at the end of each day
- Ensure vehicles have appropriate levels of Gas and other fluids
- Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management
- Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules
