Description
The Customer Quality Engineer serves as the conduit between the end Customer and our manufacturing & developmental teams; ensuring that products meet or exceed customer requirements. In this role, the Customer Quality Engineer is involved in the technical aspects of products and the expectations of the customer; providing a continuous improvement cycle for the product / processes.
The Customer Quality Engineer serves as the primary contact for specified customers - maintaining customer websites (as applicable), addressing customer complaints (Corrective action process) and maintaining customer satisfaction metrics. The Customer Quality Engineer supports change management activity such as PPAP, New Launch requirements; effectively communicating to the customers.
Requirements
Four year college or university degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years of related experience in Quality Assurance in a manufacturing facility, preferably in the automotive industry. Ability to effectively manage conflict with customers and team members. Demonstrated excellent technical verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated organizational skill in managing time, projects, and resources.
