Program Management Analyst

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Program Management Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The RF and EW Threat Systems Development Department has a diverse portfolio of projects and programs which specialize in foreign threat radar systems, RF software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) simulators, and open air radar development. The candidate selected for this position will support projects for the Defense Intelligence Community, Air Force, and large prime contractors.

The Program Management Analyst will be responsible for leading program integration activities across all portfolio projects and programs. The candidate will work with program managers and project engineers to implement cost, schedule, and risk management on their projects and programs. They will assist the department manager with planning and executing internal program reviews, weekly program status and quarterly customer program management reviews. Frequent interaction with the customer through in-process reviews and customer visits is required. The candidate must be a proactive, self-starter with significant technical leadership experience and excellent communication skills.

Basic Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field and 4 years of relevant experience or a master’s degree with 2 years of prior relevant experience is required.
• Track and communicate funding provided by multiple customers (government and commercial); manage man-hours and work authorizations, material, ODCs, and travel expenses to ensure that funding is managed accurately and appropriately.
• Experience in implanting risk management.
• Possess a demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, adapt quickly to changing requirements, and work independently and on a team.
• Ability to effectively communicate processes and procedures to program employees, partner organizations, and customers.
• Self-starter that can establish priorities, resolve immediate issues, and coordinate with customer or program management on complex problems.
• Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with team members and customers.
• Experience with standard Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Candidates must be a resident of the Huntsville AL area or willing to relocate to the North AL/Huntsville AL area.

Other Qualifications

• Familiarity with Earned Value Management is preferred but not required.

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
