Position Summary : Responsible for assisting planning and scheduling production, as well as working directly with our Operations team to track and audit Jobs and Inventory on the shop floor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : 1.
Manage workload within the cells, review WIP's (work in process) daily, help determine cell staffing needs 2.
Maintaining metrics boards, daily management checks & weekly audits 3.
Creating and organizing information in spreadsheets that allow us to make faster and more accurate decisions therefore releasing Job Orders faster and more efficiently. 4.
Ensure cell members are following all company rules including start, end and break times 5.
Actively count and Audit Inventory counts and Locations. 6.
Inform Supervisor of insufficient or unmanageable workload 7.
Active participation in team-based culture including the daily management program and offer input to better improve processes 8.
Be able to create and manage visual work instructions for the processes involved in Planning and Cycle Counting. 9.
Perform other duties as required. 10.
Ensure punctual, reliable and acceptable attendance Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : 1.
Intermediate working knowledge of Excel 2.
Reading and interpreting blueprints is required 3.
Must be able to maintain records of material, supplies, time and work performed 4.
Must be skilled at performing repetitive work according to set procedures while completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail 5.
Ability to understand and follow instructions and work successfully 6.
Must be able to operate a personal computer with a general understanding of application software and have familiarity with computers and calculators 7.
Knowledge of manufacturing process 8.

Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole number common fractions or decimals 11.
