What You’ll Do
As a Health and Safety Intern, you will be part of a dynamic team that ensures the compliance with Company HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations. Other duties will include :
- Assist with managing, planning, and coordinating H&S activities at one or more of Dyno Nobel's locations
- Support field Operations and Business Unit leadership with development and implementation of sustainable management strategies to achieve Company H&S management system objectives.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, teambuilding workshops and special working groups to continually improve performance and replicate best practices
- Responsible for participating with implementation of corporate standards regarding H&S.
- Learn ways to reduce risk of employee injury, community impact and property loss
