What You’ll Do
As a Site Manager, you will plan, lead, and control thesite operations as established in procedures and guidelines set by the company in the areas of : people, equipment, material and environmental safety, cost performance, asset utilization, customer product and service delivery. Other duties include :
- Achieve Operational Excellence through focused management and measured performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable HSEQ Performance Standards, and site security program
- Proactively work to achieve compliance with safety systems
- Responsive in the event of a safety related incident, and / or investigation, and implements corrective action with urgency
- Responsibleto respect the rights of others and to help create a discrimination and harassment free workplace
- Maintain the site expenditure and assets to achieve financial targets
- Ensure delivery of products and service
- Communicate all information that may have an impact on Dyno Nobel, its business (current or future),itsoperations, and any competitor activity.
- Management of site operating expenditure to beat current year's budget
- Contribute to achieving budgeted customer profitability as measured by EBIT, EBITA, and EBITDA.
- Manage maintenance systems for all company assets to minimum company standards.
- Identify, recommend, and implement initiatives to reduce overall cost of doing business.
- Eliminate all forms of waste from site operations.
- Identify and recommend Continuous Improvement projects that have financial benefits for both Dyno Nobel and our Customer
- This position will require regular travel across Georgia and surrounding areas
