Responsibilities
- Lead timely completion of monthly closes through the review and preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes without material errors, ensuring audit-readiness and timely external reporting
- Apply internal control procedures, including identifying process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process, working with internal teams to gather financial documentation. Review audit reports, implement necessary corrections, and ensure compliance with audit best practices.
- Develop and implement a transparent, standardized process for tracking R&D costs to ensure real-time visibility and timely information to support better decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 5-8 years of financial accounting experience, ideally in biotech or pharma.
- Proficiency in GAAP, financial reporting standards, tax regulations, ERP systems, and internal controls.
- Experience in conducting audits, complying with regulations, and preparing financial statements for audit.
- Proven ability to enhance financial systems, streamline workflows, and present complex financial data to stakeholders.
- Alignment with Dyno’s core values.
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience implementing ERP systems.
- Experience with audit preparation.
- Big 4 public accounting experience.
- CPA certification.
