Lead Custodian
Dynomax, a family-owned company, designs and manufactures high-precision machined components and automated systems. We are seeking a Lead Custodian to oversee the custodial team at three manufacturing facilities in Wheeling.
Job Responsibilities:
- Custodial Duties: Perform cleaning tasks while delegating responsibilities to team members.
- Supply Management: Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, paper goods, and consumables, working closely with the Purchasing Department.
- Vendor Communication: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers.
- Facility Cleaning: Clean restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, including floors, windows, and surfaces.
- Specialized Tasks: Polish and shampoo carpeting as needed, and properly clean all mirrors.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3 years of custodial/maintenance experience, 1 year of leadership experience.
- Skills: Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, ability to work independently with little direction.
- Additional Requirements: Ability to be on-call during off-hours, communicate concerns and hazards to a diverse audience, and mix and prepare cleaning chemicals safely.
