Assembler III
Tasks
- Use hand and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications
- Set up and change over a variety of manufacturing equipment
- Assembles, repairs, inspect and/or test units in accordance with specifications
- Record production progress and test results
- Report on issues, malfunctions, or defective parts
- Complete work with a team or independently with minimal to no supervision
- Solve problems of limited scope and complexity requiring basic interpretation of well-defined procedures and practices
- Trains other employees
Requirements
- Ability to use hand & power tools and operate automated equipment
- Performs tasks working from detailed written or verbal instructions with little to no supervision
- Standard Microsoft computer skills – Excel/Word
- Understand quality control principles
- Understand proper Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive (ESD) handling processes & procedures
- Maintain a safe work environment
Desired Skills or Knowledge
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to solder moderate to small components under a microscope to a PCB
Education
- High School diploma or GED
- 4 – 8 years of relevant experience
- Technical training preferred
