Job Title: Electrical Engineering Intern (Temporary)
Reports to: Hardware Engineering Manager
Hours of Work: Part-time to Full-time, Monday through Friday depending on business needs.
Wage: $25.00-$27.00 per hour, non-exempt
The actual pay may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
Location: On-site at our facility in Woodinville, Washington
Position Summary:
As an Electrical Engineering Intern at Dynon, you will be part of a collaborative team of developers focused on creating the best avionics and aircraft systems for light aircraft. You will perform entry-level engineering tasks, support senior engineering staff, and gain experience and familiarization with Dynon Avionics products.
If you are a motivated and driven individual looking for a hands-on learning experience in the field of electrical engineering, we encourage you to apply. Coursework in EE fundamentals, circuit analysis, semiconductor fundamentals, analog power circuits.

- Experience with development hardware, mechanical assembly and/or test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
- Electrical circuit board design, wire harness design, or mechanical design experience.
- Ability to convey technical concepts in both written and verbal formats.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Solid academic track record of accomplishment.
- Working knowledge of typical Microsoft software applications.
- Leadership & teamwork skills.
- Display maturity and a high level of professionalism.
- Previous internship experience a plus.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and concepts.
- Proficient in CAD software, such as SolidWorks.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience with mechanical testing and failure analysis is a plus.
- Coursework in mechanics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Must be 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States.
