What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Manager, Manufacturing, Operations and Sales position at DyStar?
DyStar is seeking an individual to fulfil a key role as Finance Manager - Manufacturing, Operations and Sales - in the Americas Regional Headquarters office in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role reports to the Regional Head of Finance and will manage financial reporting and analytics to support the business. This role will manage a team of 3 who focus on financial analysis and product costing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide critical financial analysis support and presentations to regional management teams in sales, supply chain and plants, etc.
- Manage US budgeting and forecasting process (Full P&L, Sales & Product Planning, Cost Center, etc.)
- Collaborate with the supply chain and manufacturing plants in sales demand planning and forecast for inventory and productions
- Support month end closing with various HQ reporting and audit requirements
- Manage customer rebates, sales commissions, and intercompany sales service charges
- Work with the global tax team to ensure compliance in cross entity transfer pricing costs
- Analyze and support product gross margins and overall profitability
- Analyze cash flows and AR collection improvement projects
- Track and analyze KPIs in company performances in the America’s region
- Work with the costing team to analyze plant and warehouse operating costs
- Prepare Ad Hoc reports and perform other assigned duties
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, required. MBA preferred.
Experience Requirements:
- 7 to 10 years of experience in FP&A / analytical related positions
- Proven experience in managing budget/forecast and KPIs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Strong team player and business partner
- Self-starter with a desire to achieve – strong leadership and change management skills, required
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP / BI data analytics software experience strongly preferred
- 10% Travel will be required, both domestically and internationally
This is an on-site role in Charlotte, NC, and not open for hybrid or remote work.
