Summary/Objective

The Sales Manager’s key role is to grow DYWIDAG'S Post Tensioning and Repair and Strengthening Business Unit in the designated territory as a premier leader in the provision of specialty subcontracting services by leveraging our established business and merging this model with market needs. The sales territory for this role is Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. This shall be accomplished by developing strong client relationships through the development and delivery of technical presentations, prospecting, networking, and leveraging internal technical resources. Results shall be measured in opportunities generated with the ultimate expectation of producing revenue in the form of profitable work, ensuring delivery capabilities are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.
Essential Functions
- Work collaboratively with the Sales, Operations, Engineering, Marketing and Management team to ensure clear accountability and a coordinated approach is in place for all clients and internal teams, resulting in a plan that meets or exceeds the established budget.
- Build strong relationships with external clients, customers, engineers, vendors and operational team members.
- Prospect for new opportunities through the preparation and delivery of presentations, networking, cold calling, utilization of lead generation tools and vendor relationships to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Support sales by creating new opportunities with existing customers through educating clients about relevant products and services.
- Lead, manage coordinate and direct the effort to write technical proposals in coordination with our estimating team when proposing work for our clients.
- Manage all sales leads and proposals in our CRM system and ensure that all information is properly and continuously entered, logged and updated.
- Continuous hands-on understanding of the DYWIDAG target market and competitor landscape, identifying risks and opportunities, to consolidate into summaries and forecast reports.
- Attend industry functions such as events, conferences, and exhibitions to provide feedback on market trends and to present DYWIDAG products and services
- Develop, communicate, and implement a business development plan, approach and sales targets that is in line with the wider Company strategy.
- Work collaboratively with the designated marketing partner to develop and deliver marketing campaigns, collateral, project reports, social media postings, etc.
- Maintain up to date, in depth knowledge of all DYWIDAG products and services.
- Actively participate and work with CRM tool.
- Assist in resolving field performance, collections and other customer satisfaction issues as needed.
- Follow through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion. Ensure a smooth sales-to-operations turnover and monitor progress.
- Other related duties as required.
Required Education/Experience
- Knowledge of Sales Techniques (Value-Selling/ Consultative-Selling) and of value-added strategies.
- Experience in using and working with CRM tools.
- Knowledge of technical proposal writing, presentation and negotiation techniques, communication techniques and conflict management.
- Must have experience on civil construction, heavy construction, DOT, bridge construction or similar construction site experience to be considered for this position.

- Thorough understanding of post-tensioning systems, carbon fiber systems, structural repair and strengthening systems and DYWIDAG products and services or the ability to gain this knowledge quickly.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking and time management skills.
- Experience with delivering presentations to a wide range of audiences of varying sizes.
- Ability to obtain information and market intelligence from a wide range of sources from which to identify and qualify market needs and customer opportunities.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets related to generating new business and delivering additional revenue from existing business.
- Leading and developing an estimating team.
- Ability to identify the decision makers within organizations.
Travel Requirements
- Travel 50%.
- Travel shall be as required to meet the goals of the Company.
- Must have the ability to traverse a variety of construction site environments in order to make site visits, sales calls, etc.
- Occasional meetings shall be required in our Company offices to facilitate project development, business development activities or other business meetings from time to time as determined by management at no set intervals.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, laptop use, etc.
- Must be able to lift 15 lbs.
