Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging art lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Teach various art techniques and mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and productive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support to students, including those with special education needs.
- Organize art exhibits or showcases to display student work and celebrate their achievements.
- Collaborate with other educators to integrate art into interdisciplinary projects.
- Maintain an inventory of art supplies and manage classroom resources efficiently.
- Foster a love for the arts through extracurricular activities such as theater productions or art camps.
Skills
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is essential.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Knowledge of theater arts is a plus, enhancing the creative scope of the curriculum.

- Cpr / Aed child and adult preferred to ensure student safety during activities
