Compensation: $25-30.00/Hr.

As we grow, we are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and experienced commercial maintenance field supervisor to help motivate, manage and oversee multiple lawn maintenance teams. In return you will find endless opportunities for career growth and upward movement within our company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Yes, you will do landscaping work from time to time but the majority of your time will be visiting our teams at different locations to check on quality control of our maintenance teams, problem solve, and a heavy focus on taking care of our employees and our clients at all times.
- Meet with clients to determine their landscape wants and needs.
- Conduct site analysis of existing landscape conditions and take notes and pictures to work directly with our account managers to correct deficiencies.
- Report to and work directly with the lawn maintenance manager and other account managers to ensure client goals and satisfaction are being accomplished.
- Manage, build, maintain, represent, and sustain company relationships with
HOA’s, Commercial Properties, Homeowners, Crew Members, and Vendors.
- Anticipate and maintain client needs with positive solutions in a suitable manner and provide honest and candid feedback to clients regarding their perceptions of ideas, products, and services being provided to maximize client retention.
- Maintain communication with the maintenance manager and division account managers on the production schedules, inspections, extra work, deadlines, material requirements and customer requests.
- Schedule equipment and labor needs with the Management Team
(daily/weekly).
- Provide on-the-job training and feedback for crew members to increase their knowledge, skillset and career growth opportunities.
- Maintain documentation for work performed, including daily time sheets, work order requests, and receipts for rentals/purchases with customer job name or job # as the P.O. number.
- Personally inspect installation projects to maintain the precise quality control on everything we do, how we do it, and why we do it the way we do. We have a heavy focus on ethical, sustainable, and environmentally intentional methods that must be maintained at all times.
- Conduct bi-weekly safety meetings with lawn maintenance division
- Create a collaborative work environment with a focus on employee wellness/happiness, results, high-quality, and high performance.
- Coordinate equipment breakdowns and repairs with fleet manager to ensure equipment is properly running at all times and crews have “loaner” machines when needed
- Be able to diagnose and perform minor irrigation repairs, and or have the ability to diagnose deficiencies with operating systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Formal experience managing multiple landscape lawn maintenance or construction teams. (minimum 2 years experience)
- Possess basic knowledge of plant materials, planting and growth habits (or at least a strong desire to learn).
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Self starter with the highest of integrity and not afraid to make mistakes.
- Basic understanding of materials and labor costing
- Team player who will take initiative and be willing to do things outside of job description
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate various pieces of equipment and trucks.
- Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, daily access to a reliable automobile, and a smartphone required.
- Must possess/maintain a valid Connecticut driver’s license & a clean driving record. Must have daily access to a reliable insured automobile, and a smartphone required.
- Fluent in English and Bi-lingual in Spanish a huge plus
- Required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend and lift/move up to 50lbs

- Minimum 2 years field experience. Life experience can certainly prevail over college experience so tell us about yourself.
- Strong leadership skills to coach & develop teams and individuals.

- Extensive experience in client management and problem resolution.

COMPENSATION:
- $25-30 per hour based on skill/experience (with added Bonuses & Incentives)
