Purpose of Position: The basic purpose of a Superintendent is to make all jobs run as safely and efficiently as possible. The Superintendent coordinates progress, promotes quality, relays information, and protects the safety of all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, organizing, and coordinating each job before, during, and after the crews arrive on the job.
- Scheduling, organizing, and coordinating all subcontractors.
- Scheduling equipment moves with lowboy drivers and the equipment manager.
- Scheduling multiple crews, coordinating their operations, and deciding the employees that compose each crew for a given day.
- Oversee the foremen's decisions.
- Filling out, e-mailing and delivering the daily work orders.
- Scheduling asphalt plant pickup 24/7.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge in asphalt, grade, and concrete work.
- Requires several years of field/construction experience as a foreman.
- Ability to adapt to frequent changes in priority.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Must possess proficient computer skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, coach, and counsel employees.
- Must have OSHA 30, First Aid & CPR training certification.
Compensation:
Dependent on experience and qualifications

Pay: $91,411.00 - $98,010.00 per year
