What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bridge Foreman position at E&B Paving?
This position will cover the northern regional territory for E&B Paving. The area offices are Rochester, Fort Wayne, and Kokomo.
Purpose of Position: Responsible for the oversight of bridge construction operations. This position will involve overseeing and managing form crews, concrete crews, enforcement of safety policies, scheduling subcontractors, materials and equipment for daily production in the North / Northeastern Indiana Market
Key Responsibilities:
- Know the daily operations of bridge construction
- Material, equipment and crew scheduling
- Calculate concrete quantities
- Proficient in reading construction drawings
- Must have good communication skills
- Assist in developing a project schedule
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in DOT bridge and heavy highway construction field
- The ideal candidate will be a carpenter with experience in bridge building
- Must have the following training or willing to acquire training as required per E&B foreman training program, a minimum of OSHA 30 certification, traffic control supervisor, First aid and CPR certification, certified flagger, use of LEO’s in the work zone.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37.74 - $38.12 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
