Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to drive B2B sales and foster strong relationships with commercial, institutional, and municipal clients. This role involves engaging with C-suite executives in sustainability, marketing, and management to guide them through a 6–18 month sales cycle. The ideal candidate will identify sales opportunities, close high-value deals, and ensure client satisfaction by presenting customized solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and close strategic sales opportunities that support customer sustainability and branding goals.
- Develop and deliver customized presentations highlighting the value of our solutions.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, targeting new clients and nurturing existing relationships to drive repeat business and generate testimonials.
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to ensure messaging and product positioning are aligned.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market incentives, and competitive developments to provide informed guidance to customers.
- Consistently exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to company growth.
- Work cross-functionally with leadership and report directly to the President.
Qualifications:
- Proven Sales Success: Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in company branding, renewable energy, distributed generation, or other high-impact sectors.
- Account Development Expertise: Strong ability to build client relationships, manage time effectively, and close high-value deals.
- Diverse Background: Experience working with small businesses, Fortune 500 companies, and high-growth sectors.
- Strategic and Critical Thinking: Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow through on tasks.
- Driven and Collaborative: Self-motivated with a passion for working in a team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional Communicator: Persuasive, empathetic, and highly effective in both verbal and written communication.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Education and Mobility: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred, with the ability to travel within the sales territory.
