The BCBA is responsible for providing and overseeing ABA therapy services to individuals with autism. This role includes conducting assessments, designing treatment and behavior intervention plans, supervising behavior technicians, and conducting parent training. The BCBA may also be called upon to offer additional supervision to BaBAs, QBHPs, and students pursuing their ABA degrees.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct client assessments and create treatment and behavior intervention plans according to BACB code standards and payer requirements. Ensure timely completion of authorization requests to prevent lapses in client care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, acting as the primary point of contact for clients. Provide regular parent training sessions as per company guidelines.
- Supervise and train behavior technicians, providing both formal and informal feedback, including staff feedback forms, shout-outs, and other recognition.
- Collect, analyze, and review client data to adjust treatment plans based on findings.
- Communicate with client support coordinators and case managers to review cases and discuss data.
- Submit accurate session notes and reports for billing according to company timelines and deadlines.
- Maintain a Google calendar reflecting a 40-hour workweek, ensuring real-time accuracy to support safety and accountability.
- Follow quality monitoring processes to ensure services are being delivered according to treatment plans and in compliance with BACB standards.
- Meet organizational productivity expectations, including billable hours and supervision of QBHPs, students, and behavior technicians.
- Provide direct ABA therapy services when needed due to staffing issues or technician availability.
- Participate in monthly staff meetings, bi-weekly clinical meetings, and quarterly clinician meetings. Engage in committee work, projects, and training as directed by leadership.
- Demonstrate customer service excellence in all interactions with staff, peers, clients, families, and payers.
- Be solution-focused and calm in stressful situations, offering support and guidance to team members in difficult cases related to assessments, parent training, and supervision.
- Contribute to company-wide policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
- Master's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field.
- Valid Michigan driver's license and current auto insurance.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
- Ability to handle stress, maintain flexibility, and adapt to changing situations.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
