Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Computer Numerical Control Programmer, Setup and CNC department production manager at Automatic Precision Inc. in Harwood Heights, IL. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for technical drawing interpretation, CNC programming, setup, machining optimization, and program development to ensure precision and efficiency in component manufacturing. Ability to troubleshoot Citizen, Star and Nexturn machines, along with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls are a big plus. The right candidate will be expected to take a leading position in the department, ensuring excellence in overall performance, meeting and exceeding goals as well as production deadlines.
Qualifications
· Technical Drawing and Machining skills
· CNC Programming and Setup expertise
· Experience in creating CNC programs
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to troubleshoot Citizen, Star and Nexturn machines
· Ability to troubleshoot Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls
· Attention to detail and precision in machining processes
· Proficiency in MS Office products
· Knowledge of MS Access programming is a plus
· Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications.
- Program and operate CNC machines, ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards.
- Utilize CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, for designing and modifying parts.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes and implement lean manufacturing principles.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and Access.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $78,263.00 - $95,000.00 per year
