Role: CNC Programmer

Role Description
Efficiently operate CNC milling machines in a fast-paced manufacturing shop environment to meet the customer needs. Completion of documentation (job travelers, operator check sheets, inspection reports, etc.). ensure proper inspection of first piece and in-processes inspection are performed and made adjustments as required. Assist other employees when needed to achieve company manufacturing goals. Must be able to work with minimal supervision but know when to ask for assistance. Good communication skills and working as a team are a must.
Qualifications
· Technical Drawing and CNC Programming skills
· Machining and Milling experience
· Proficiency in Mastercam Programming 3 years
· Must be able to read and understand prints
· Attention to detail and precision in work
· Knowledge of CNC machinery and equipment
· Strong problem-solving skills
· 3 years' experience in an operator/setup position with CNC Vertical 3-Axis milling centers
Responsibilities
· Develop and optimize CNC programs for milling machines and other CNC equipment.
· Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining processes.
· Utilize CAM programming software to create efficient machining paths.
· Operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for quality assurance checks.
· Conduct setups and adjustments on CNC machines as needed.
· Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
· Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers and bore gauges to verify part dimensions.
· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes.
· Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
