Role: Technical Support Manager/Trainer - Coatings and Maintenance
Location: Medford, NY 11763/Onsite
Job Type: Fulltime/Permanent
An excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional with a coatings background to provide applications support and product training to a global network of managers, distributors, and end users. This position will require occasional travel to provide in-field support but will be primarily based at the headquarters on Long Island, NY.
We are looking for an experienced professional with knowledge of protective coatings, corrosion control, surface preparation, and application techniques to provide technical support and training to our global organization. A buildings and machinery maintenance background and/or NACE or AMPP certification is a definite plus.
The ideal candidate would have a technical degree as well as:
- 5-10 years of experience in facilities or equipment repair and maintenance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel to provide technical support – about once a quarter on average – domestically as well as internationally
The right candidate will fill a key position in a growing, international manufacturing and sales organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
