Description:
The position is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance activities, handling all preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on industrial machinery and production equipment. The candidate will also perform various duties related to building maintenance and upkeep.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Vocational training or a minimum of 3 years experience in industrial maintenance.
Acute attention to detail and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
Experience reading mechanical/electrical blueprints and shop sketches.
Experience in carpentry, fabrication, welding, and pipe fitting.
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic,c and water cooling systems.
Excellent communication, leadership and team skills.
Knowledge of Electricity and Electrical Applications.
Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls.
Knowledge of Plumbing and Pipefitting.
Knowledge of Welding.
Machine Tool Practices.
Use of good housekeeping practices.
Follow all safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Machinery installation, maintenance, service, repair and overhaul.
Troubleshooting motors and controls.
Preventative Maintenance.
Building Maintenance.
Working with systems including but not limited to pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, chillers, metal stamping and forming machines, injection molding machines and other industrial production equipment.
Provides direction to outside contractors when applicable.
Communicate and cooperate with fellow employees to maintain quality, operational efficiency and safety.
Other associated duties.
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
