CMM Programmer.

Position: CMM Programmer/Operator
Location: Curtis Bay, Maryland (Onsite)
Employment Type: 4-Month Contract to Permanent

Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and tech-savvy CMM Programmer with experience in high-precision measurement. This role provides an opportunity to apply your technical expertise in developing advanced inspection programs using Calypso software on Carl Zeiss coordinate-measuring machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement accurate inspection programs utilizing Calypso software.
• Conduct first-piece and first-article inspections with a focus on precision.
• Interpret and understand blueprints, 3D models, engineering drawings, and diagrams.
• Use a variety of manual measuring instruments, including thread and plug gauges, micrometers, calipers, and depth micrometers.
• Work in a fast-paced CNC production setting while managing multiple first-piece approvals.
• Supply precise and dependable inspection data to support manufacturing and quality control operations.
• Maintain both speed and accuracy while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure high-quality setups and build trust in the process.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
