CNC Programmer.

Role: CNC Programmer

Location: Lowell, MA/Onsite

Job Type: Fulltime/Permanent

Role Description

· Efficiently operate CNC milling machines in a fast-paced manufacturing shop environment to meet the customer needs. Completion of documentation (job travelers, operator check sheets, inspection reports, etc.). ensure proper inspection of first piece and in-processes inspection are performed and made adjustments as required.

· Assist other employees when needed to achieve company manufacturing goals.

· Must be able to work with minimal supervision but know when to ask for assistance.

· Good communication skills and working as a team are a must.

Qualifications

· Technical Drawing and CNC Programming skills

· Machining and Milling experience

· Proficiency in Mastercam Programming 3 years

· Must be able to read and understand prints

· Attention to detail and precision in work

· Knowledge of CNC machinery and equipment

· Strong problem-solving skills

· 3 years' experience in an operator/setup position with CNC Vertical 3-Axis milling centers

Responsibilities

· Develop and optimize CNC programs for milling machines and other CNC equipment.

· Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining processes.

· Utilize CAM programming software to create efficient machining paths.

· Operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for quality assurance checks.

· Conduct setups and adjustments on CNC machines as needed.

· Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.

· Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers and bore gauges to verify part dimensions.

· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes.

· Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process.

SHIFT HOURS: 8 hours Shift – Monday - Friday – Day Shift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
