CyberArk Analyst

Role: Cyber-Ark Business Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL/Hybrid 1 or 2 days remote per week

Job Type: 12 months - Contract

Schedule: Monday to Friday

They will be working on the PAM operation, their daily work will generate reports from their environment and see what the failures are, and engage with different platform teams – ex. Unix, Linux, etc. To troubleshoot the failures on the accounts to make sure they are healthy.

Day-to-day activities:

· Work with infrastructure teams (*nix/Windows/Network/Mainframe/ Databases/Applications) to gather information for platform and account onboarding.

· Gather new CPM plugin development requirements.

· They will handle remediation activity, they have accounts integrated end to end, and different credential providers that are in the application team will help support integrations.

Target profile:

· looking at 5 years in IT, with at least in application security.

· Cyber-Ark CDE, Cyber-Ark Defender or Sentry, cyber Ark Conjur certification or Cyber-Ark Defender or s, or at least 4 years in Cyber-Ark

· Troubleshooting skillset related to Cyber-Ark CorePAS components

· Experience in Cyber-Ark application integration (CP, CCP, ASCP) modules.

· Experience in automation PACLI script, Conjur script, Shell script, and Python.

· Application Security

· Experience with Active Directory (AD) and ADFS

· Knowledge of server operations and maintenance (vulnerability tickets/Patching/Cyber-Ark Bulletin updates etc.).

· Understanding of cloud terminology, architecture, and tools including installing, provisioning, and monitoring

· Are they looking for a Cyber-Ark Engineer with BA aspects? Or a BA with strong hands-on experience with Cyber-Ark? They would prefer a BA with strong technical hands-on experience but need this person to be technical and open to that background as long as they have strong extensive reporting and documentation

Experience Level:

· Sr. Level - A minimum of 5 years of IT experience with at least two of those years focused on Application Security is required

Asks & Responsibilities:

· Perform Cyber-Ark PAM installation and upgrades.

· Develop and execute Cyber-Ark Plugins

· Develop and execute the Cyber-Ark integrations implementation plans and deployment guides.

· Deploy PSM and AIM/AAM/Secrets Manager/Conjur solutions.

· Work with infrastructure teams (*nix/Windows/Network/Mainframe/ Databases/Applications) to gather information for platform and account onboarding.

· Develop and unit test PSM connection components.

· Develop and test AIM/AAM/Conjur SDKs for application integration.

· Gather new CPM plugin development requirements.

· Support, troubleshoot, and fix CPM plug-in issues.

· Develop PowerShell/Java scripts/codes to automate Cyber Ark jobs.

· Review and analyze Cyber-Ark EPM threat protection events using Cyber-Ark threat intelligence Services such as Virus Total, National Software Reference Library, Cyber Ark application, and reputation analysis

Qualifications (Must Haves):

· Cyber ark CorePAS and Conjur experience

· Should be able to Analyze, design, and develop data loss prevention policies

· Technically versatile and savvy, either with experience in multiple technologies and/or the ability to pick up new technologies quickly.

· Excellent analytical skills

· In-depth understanding of information security and software development

· Practical experience with security and authorization principles

Nice to Haves:

· Application Security

· Experience with Active Directory (AD) and ADFS

· Experience with PowerShell and Shell Scripting for automating repeatable tasks and installations

· Knowledge of server operations and maintenance

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Compensation Package:

• 1099 contract
