Role: GCP Strategic Consultant

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Job Type: Contract/FullTime

We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven GCP Strategic Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with clients to develop and implement cloud strategies using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. You will leverage your expertise to help organizations optimize their cloud environments, enhance their capabilities, and achieve their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Cloud Strategy Development: Work closely with clients to understand their business goals and develop a comprehensive cloud strategy tailored to their needs.

· Architecture Design: Design scalable and secure cloud architectures using GCP services, ensuring best practices are followed.

· Migration Planning and Execution: Guide clients through the planning and execution of migrating applications and data to GCP, minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity.

· Performance Optimization: Analyze existing GCP environments to identify opportunities for cost savings, performance improvements, and efficiency enhancements.

· Training and Enablement: Conduct training sessions and workshops for client teams to build their knowledge and capabilities in using GCP effectively.

· Compliance and Security: Advise clients on best practices for data security, compliance, and risk management within their GCP environments.

· Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and progress.

Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.

· Experience Experience in cloud consulting, with a focus on GCP; experience in other cloud platforms is a plus.

· Certifications: Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect or similar certifications preferred.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes), cloud architecture, networking, and security principles.

· Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate business needs into technical solutions.

· Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex concepts clearly to various audiences.

· Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
