Delivery Driver/ Independent Contractor- MINI VAN OR SUV PREFERRED

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver (Independent Contractor) to join our team. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while ensuring timely deliveries.

Duties

• Operate a box truck or similar vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
• Load and unload items carefully, ensuring that all products are handled with care.
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Utilize manual transmission vehicles when necessary, demonstrating proficiency in driving skills.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff for smooth loading and unloading processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Familiarity with moving and forklift operations is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently.
• Experience in loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently.
• Must be able to work independently, managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards is essential.
