Detailed Job Description:
The essential duties and responsibilities described below are subject to management discretion and may be changed at any time based on the needs of the business. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor of this position where required.
**Duties: **
Observe and validate the first/last piece part inspection.
Conduct random gage audits.
Observes and asks workers questions about job functions.
Reads processing information on II sheets, worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets, to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications.
Observe workers using equipment to verify that equipment is being operated and maintained according to quality standards.
Authority to verify quality and release parts for shipment.
Customer support for quality issues, including travel to location.
Gauge: R&R studies, capability studies.
Operate CMM equipment as needed.
Responsible for 5s of immediate area.
Complies with applicable company policies and procedures and supports a culture of team member engagement that is in line with E&E Core Values.
**Supervisory Responsibilities **
None
**Education and/or Experience **
High school diploma or GED preferred.- One year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related work experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus.
Good computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office required.
Experience with electronic document management systems is a plus.
Experience in an automotive parts manufacturing facility preferred.
Auditor certification preferred.
Must be able to read, write, and understand English
