e&e is seeking a Business Analyst for a contract opportunity in Harrisburg, PA!
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Electronic Health Records (EHR)/Electronic Medical Records (EMR), health informatics, and health IT to support the modernization of State Health Centers (SHCs). The role focuses on gathering business requirements, assessing procurement options, estimating costs, and developing proposals for EHR implementation. The selected candidate will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), IT teams, and program stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze business requirements across different units and enhance system processes.
- Develop clinical workflow charts and system capability specifications.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in technical business processes, developing system prototypes for efficiency improvements.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance (QA) at each development stage.
- Work with users to define functional, non-functional, and stakeholder requirements for system development.
- Collaborate with testing teams, provide subject matter expert (SME) input, and assist in testing when necessary.
- Assist in developing training materials and conducting training sessions as needed.
- Maintain project documentation on SharePoint and ensure timely status reporting.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Business Analyst in IT-related projects.
- Strong expertise in EHR/EMR, health informatics, and health IT systems.
- Experience with requirements gathering methodologies, workflow modeling (BPMN), and report specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, and SQL query tools.
- Knowledge of developing Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, User Requirements, and Traceability Matrices.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and writing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Business Analyst certification (IIBA) preferred.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to project needs.
