Key Holder Associate

E Edwards workwear, Inc. is a leading retailer specializing in workwear and safety gear. We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Key Holder. As a Key Holder you will play a crucial role in maintaining the day-to-day operations of the store and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the store manager with various tasks, including opening and closing the store, managing cash registers. and ensuring that merchandise is properly stocked and displayed. Additionally, you will provide excellent customer service, answering any product-related questions, and helping customers with their purchase.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the store manager in opening and closing the store, including handling cash registers, setting up displays, and ensuring that all areas of the store are cleaned.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit card, and gift card payments.
• Restock merchandise and maintain proper inventory levels in accordance with company guidelines.
• Assist with receiving and unpacking new merchandise, ensuring that it is properly tagged and displayed on the sales floor.
• Monitor store security and follow established procedures for preventing theft loss.
• Collaborating with the store manager to identify and implement strategies for increasing sales and improving customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties in a fast paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in using cash registers and other point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
