The E. Ethel Little Elementary School is seeking a Special Education Teacher Long-Term Substitute tentatively from May 27, 2025 through the end of the 2024-2025 school year (currently June 20, 2025). Essential duties
- Maintain and manage all the required responsibilities of the special education process including academic, behavioral, and social skill instruction
- Progress monitoring
- Implementation of behavior support plans
- Data collection and analysis
- Testing
- IEP paperwork for annual reviews, progress reports, and parent conferences
- Collaboration with general education Teachers and Special Education Staff
Requirements
- Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education teaching license in Special Education, Moderate Disabilities PreK-8
- Master's Degree in a related field preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Collaborative working demeanor
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience preferred
