Responsibilities :

1. Equipment Repair and Maintenance : Diagnose and repair a variety of outdoor power equipment, such as lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and leaf blowers. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups to ensure optimal equipment performance.

2. Customer Service Extraordinaire : Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, addressing customer inquiries, and explaining repair processes and recommendations clearly.

3. Technical Expertise : Utilize your technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently and accurately. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements in outdoor power equipment.

4. Parts Management : Identify the need for replacement parts and order them promptly to complete repairs in a timely manner. Keep accurate records of equipment repairs and parts used.

5. Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while performing repairs and maintenance tasks. Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Qualifications :

• Technical Proficiency : You should possess strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing outdoor power equipment. Previous experience as an outdoor power equipment technician or a related field is preferred.
• Must complete Stihl iCademy Silver Certification within one year of hire date.
• Customer Focus : Your dedication to providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction sets you apart. Your ability to communicate technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner is essential.
• Attention to Detail : As an Outdoor Power Equipment Technician, accuracy in diagnosing issues and conducting repairs is crucial for the equipment's optimal performance.
• Adaptability : As a valued member of our team, your adaptability and problem-solving abilities will contribute to providing top-notch service to our customers.
• Physical Stamina : This role will involve lifting heavy equipment and performing physically demanding tasks. Ability to move and lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis, occasionally lifting up to 80 lbs. Your physical stamina will enable you to handle the demands of equipment repair.
