The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tune-ups, conducting vehicle repairs and maintenance in accordance with safety protocols, and utilizing diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical issues.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct vehicle repairs and maintenance in accordance with safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tune-ups.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Create and adhere to repair schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct test drives to verify safe and proper vehicle operation.
- Perform roadside repairs as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Vocational/technical school program or apprenticeship in auto repair or related field.
- Completion of schooling and job-related experience preferred.
- Proficiency in mechanical repair and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to obtain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
