EKG Security is a professional security company looking for highly motivated and competent individuals in the Nashville, Tn area to undertake the role of Concierge Security Officer of a Class A Building to help our clients protect their premises and protection of staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and give authority as well as possess a high level of observation. The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.
Position Type: Full-time
Tentative Start Date: ASAP
Shift Type: 1st shift M-F 8am-5-pm
Pay rate: $20 / hr.
Summary of Role
The Concierge Security Officer provides a welcoming and professional first impression for residents, guests, and visitors while ensuring the safety and security of the building and its occupants. This role combines customer service with security responsibilities, including monitoring access, responding to alarms, and providing assistance to residents and guests.
Qualification Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid Driver's License (required if driving a company vehicle)
- Must have Security Concierge experience
- Must have experience working in Class A Buildings
- Security:
- Monitor access control systems (e.g., door entry, intercom) to ensure authorized entry only.
- Respond to security alarms and incidents, escalating to appropriate authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular security patrols of the building and grounds.
- Maintain a secure environment by adhering to established security protocols and procedures.
- Assist with fire marshal duties and emergency procedures.
- Concierge Duties:
- Greet and assist residents and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Provide information and directions to residents and visitors.
- Handle inquiries and requests from residents and guests.
- Assist with making reservations, arranging transportation, or other concierge services as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Administrative:
- Maintain accurate records of visitor and resident access.
- Assist with package handling and delivery.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
Qualifications:- Education:High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training in security or hospitality preferred.
Experience:Previous experience in security, customer service, or hospitality preferred.
Skills:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Proficiency in using security systems and equipment.
