E K Machine is looking for a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our Power Products team.
Job Description:
- We are seeking an individual with a thorough knowledge of applied trade practices and techniques to repair and maintain electrical and assembly components in generator enclosures.
- The ideal candidate will have diverse skills, be able to communicate effectively with customers, and travel extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers on phone, email, and in person to aid in onsite assembly and troubleshooting.
- Estimate repair costs and record work performed and costs incurred.
- Travel to customer sites to aid in installation and troubleshooting.
- Assemble functional parts of enclosures and tanks using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straight edges.
- May be qualified in the use of forklifts, cranes, and other lifting apparatus and lifts to aid in the assembly process.
