What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at E.K. Machine?
The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR functions at Plant 2, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and training & development. This position requires a hands-on professional with a strong understanding of HR best practices in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, interviews, and new hire orientation.
- Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and ensure a positive workplace culture.
- Compliance & Policies: Ensure company policies comply with labor laws and industry regulations. Maintain employee records and oversee HR audits.
- Performance Management: Support managers in performance evaluations, goal-setting, and employee development plans.
- Training & Development: Organize training sessions to enhance employee skills and workplace safety awareness.
- Payroll & Benefits: Assist with payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave management.
- HR Projects: Drive initiatives related to engagement, retention, and diversity & inclusion.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
