Saw Operator Job Summary: The primary responsibilities include operating a street saw to cut roadways for paving crews. The Saw Cutting Operator works on construction projects, by transferring from one task to another where demands require. This position requires a worker with varied experience and ability to work without close supervision.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate a street saw to cut roadways for paving crews efficiently.
- Drive company vehicles to transport the saw to designated job sites safely.
- Utilize the saw for cutting tasks related to trenching and asphalt repairs as needed.
- Undertake general laborer duties during periods when not engaged in saw operation.
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment to maintain safe operating conditions.
- Fulfill any other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Wears all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Complies with all company and OSHA mandated safety and health guidelines
- Performs winter maintenance duties as assigned
Education/Training:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating a street saw, coupled with a willingness to learn and adapt
