JOB SUMMARY:
A traffic control flagger will control motorist and pedestrian traffic on the job sites. Assist daily traffic pattern set-up and removal. Responsible for knowing, understanding and appropriately applying PUB213 Traffic Control Guidelines.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the convenient, safe and orderly movement of vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian traffic
- Set-Up and Remove/Tear-down traffic control patterns as worksite requires
- Maintain clean job site, including materials and tools
- Complies with all PennDOT publication 213 guidelines
- Complies with all company and OSHA mandated safety and health guidelines
- Wears all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Assists as laborer during non-peak or downtime
- Liaison with Sub-Contractors to ensure proper operations
- Performs additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Stamina: Flaggers are on their feet for long periods, often in adverse conditions
- Ability to work as a part of a crew
- Available to work day or night shifts
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Pre-employment Drug Screen Required
EXPERIENCE:
Flagger experience preferred. Will train motivated individual. Required to attend company training/certifications to keep compliance with company expectations.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Outside. Seldom exposed to fumes, odor, dryness, and poor ventilation; occasionally exposed to dust, wetness, and vibrations; frequently exposed to dirt, heat, cold, and noise.
