Position Summary
- Employee coordinates with applicable agencies (SPO’s and MAJCOMS) regarding Mission Planning Environment (MPE) Letters, test packages, and software releases to the field for applicable airframes
- Implements and maintains software duplication processes, procedures and associated configuration management practices
- Creates Computer Program Identification Number (CPINs) for certified software in accordance with Air Force Technical Orders.
- Prepare mission planning software releases, including preparation of software release masters for test, fielding and ad hoc requests
- Control the receipt, registration, and distribution of information within the software and documentation library; alert mission planning personnel of updates and corrections
- Create and modify reports of the software deficiency database to support customer information requests and emerging requirements from the MAJCOM’s, SPO, and test organizations
- Plan and organize emergency deficiency review boards, enabling key decision makers to make timely and accurate decisions on the disposition of software deficiencies
Skills/Experience:
- Knowledge of USAF configuration management practices desired
- Requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in handling and shipping classified materials desired
- Secret clearance is required to start. Must currently hold secret clearance or have held secret clearance (or higher) within the last two years

Pay: $80,173.00 - $87,134.00 per year
