Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Data Maintenance: Assist in maintaining data integrity across various corporate master and transactional data sets.
- Data Profiling: Conduct data quality assessments and cleansing to ensure that data meets business needs and adheres to established standards.
- Process Documentation: Document processes, issues, and resolutions to improve data management practices and ensure knowledge transfer.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with teams across different hubs to align master data practices and engage with internal stakeholders globally.
- Data Governance: Support the development and implementation of data governance and management practices across the organization.
- Analytics Support: Assist in data analysis projects, providing insights to support business decisions.
Requirements:
- Currently a rising Junior/Senior enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university.
- Ability to commit to up to 40 hours per week from early June to late August.
- Ability to commute to the Oakland office in a hybrid modality for the duration of the internship.
- Ability and willingness to work with teams in multiple time zones, including connections with the New York office and the Shanghai team.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, functions, visualization, macros) and other data manipulation tools (SQL and Python).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey ideas clearly and build relationships with partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of data science, machine learning, or data mining is a plus.
- Statistical knowledge and the ability to apply it to real-world problems.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
