Fire Alarm Technician
Department : Construction
Reports To: Foreman
Job Summary:
Installs electrical wiring, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools for Fire Alarm Systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordination with customers/vendors/other trades for permitting/scheduling/inspections
- Submitting document packages to local AHJ's and obtaining permits
- On site project supervision and installation
- Production of data sheet packages
- Production of O&M Manuals
- Production of As-Built drawings
- Purchasing materials
Basic Qualifications and Work Experience:
- Current NICET Level II Fire Alarm Systems Certification OR Current Denver Fire Alarm Installer’s License
- At least 1 Year experience in a Fire Alarm Technician role (Preferred)

Physical Requirements:
Typical construction work including climbing ladders, working in high places (such as scaffolding or ladders) climbing stairs, pulling wire, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), operating machinery (forklifts, cranes, backhoes, power tools, hand tools, benders, tuggers, hydraulic machinery), bending, stooping, kneeling, sitting, standing, grasping, driving, and typing.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation range of $22.00 to $32.00 (depending on experience)
