We are seeking skilled Dell Technician to support the deployment and maintenance of computer systems within the U.S. Department of the Energy. The ideal candidate will collaborate with SRMC scheduler to ensure the efficient installation, setup, and maintenance of PCs while providing technical support for end users.
The schedule will be 10 hours per day from Monday to Thursday
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair both warrantied and out-of-warranty Dell computers.
- Perform repairs at both the repair bench and individual user locations as needed.
- Receive and manage warranty parts directly from Dell.
- Maintain an inventory of essential spare parts for quick turnaround repairs.
- Assist and provide technical guidance to installation technicians as needed.
- Support installation efforts and perform installations when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Dell certification required for Dell Technician.
- Experience with PC deployment, setup, and troubleshooting in an enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of data migration, software installation, and hardware replacement processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Effective communication skills to assist users with technical issues.
