Description : Position Overview :
We are currently seeking a courteous and attentive Bell Attendant / Driver to join our Guest Services team at Doubletree in Wood Dale, IL.. The Bell Attendant / Driver will be responsible for providing exceptional assistance to hotel guests, including greeting and assisting with luggage, arranging transportation, and providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a valid driver's license.
Key Responsibilities :
- Guest Assistance :
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with luggage, packages, and other belongings.
- Escort guests to their rooms, providing information about hotel services and amenities.
- Offer assistance with any guest inquiries or requests, providing personalized service to enhance their experience.
- Transportation Services :
- Arrange transportation for guests, including taxis, shuttles, and limousines.
- Drive hotel vehicles to transport guests to and from airports, train stations, and local attractions.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and stocked with amenities for guest comfort.
- Concierge Services :
- Provide recommendations and information about local attractions, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
- Assist guests with making reservations, purchasing tickets, and arranging tours or activities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local events and attractions to provide accurate and timely information to guests.
- Safety and Security :
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and their belongings at all times.
- Follow safety procedures and protocols when handling luggage and operating vehicles.
- Report any safety hazards or security concerns to management immediately.
- Team Collaboration :
- Collaborate with other hotel departments, including Front Office and Housekeeping, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate guest services and transportation arrangements.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by management.
