Position Overview:

We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team at [Hotel Name] in [City, State]. Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to create and implement strategic sales initiatives.
  • Client Relations:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other partners.
  • Conduct site visits, sales presentations, and negotiate contracts with potential clients.
  • Manage existing accounts to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate, group, and event bookings.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the hotel.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and business opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the catering, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of events and services.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings and provide updates on sales activities and performance.
  • Train and mentor junior sales staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor competitors and market conditions to adjust sales strategies as needed.
  • Provide regular updates to the Director of Sales and General Manager on sales performance.
  • Marketing and Promotions:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Assist in managing the hotel's online presence, including website content and social media.
  • Develop and implement special packages and promotions to attract new business.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software, CRM systems, and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
