E&M Tax Service is a small but dynamic tax firm with a specialized focus on serving clients in the entertainment industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Reviewer and Tax Preparer to join our growing team. Position : Senior Reviewer & Tax Preparer

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, including 1120S, 1120, 1065, SMLLC, and 1040 including Schedule C, E, and Form 1116 etc.
Prepare Year-End projections and reasonable compensation analysis.
Conduct Zoom appointments with clients, providing professional and clear communication.
Handle client inquiries and concerns with patience and professionalism.
Work flexible hours, including late nights and weekends during peak tax seasons.
Tax resolution on City, State and Federal matters.
Quarterly projections will also be required.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 5 years of tax preparation experience and 2 years of review experience.

Must hold a current Enrolled Agent (EA) license.

Proficient in QuickBooks and familiar with tax software; i.e. Drake.

Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential. This is very important for us, please add the word purple to the subject line when applying.

Strong understanding for reasonable compensation of S-Corp Owner / Officers.

Ability to work remotely from a private home office including hardwired internet.

Must be available to work Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours (8 am to 5 pm).

Compensation & Benefits :

Salary : $80,000 annually (non-exempt), with ample opportunities for overtime.

2 weeks paid time off (PTO) and 12 paid E&M holidays that rotate annually.

Full-time remote position with flexible working hours during off season.

Monthly Cell phone and Internet reimbursement.
