What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Superintendent position at E-MC Electrical, Inc.?
This is a full-time, direct placement for E-MC Electrical, Inc.
Responsibilities:
- Would be responsible for all the field employees on projects.
- Would be required to assist with a working estimate and take-off jointly with the Project Manager to verify original estimate accuracy.
- Would layout the work for crew lead person and be responsible (with the Project Manager) for having the material, tools/equipment, information, and employee requirements on the jobsite in the proper place in a timely fashion (schedule/man loading charts).
- Take care of correspondence and forms required by the office, i.e., daily reports, time tickets, safety reports, accident reports, etc.
- Would monitor the work being done, direct the crew and have the work scheduled according to the pace of the job and other trades.
- This classification applies only to large projects.
- The Superintendent effectively utilizes management skills in directing supervision of lead persons along with coordinating crew activities within the scope of duties.
Requirements
EXPERIENCE -- 15 years of previous electrical experience.
LICENSE -- Electrical - Current Journeyman or Master.
Must have a clean driving record, pass a drug test and present themselves in a clean professional manner in all project and corporate environments such as airlines, pharmaceutical, food processing, government facilities, and any general construction project site. Work during off-normal hours may be required.
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
