A soon-to-open electronics recycling & reuse facility is seeking an experienced Warehouse Worker/Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in managing the collection and processing of electronic waste and materials while ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and reliable, with strong inventory management skills to optimize warehouse operations. This position requires close collaboration with the sales and shipping departments, contributing to various tasks and supporting overall company operations.

We serve a wide range of clients, offering expert guidance in e-waste collection, data destruction, and material recovery. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service when receiving donations and materials from clients and visitors.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding our e-waste recycling services and solutions.
- Efficiently receive, label, sort, categorize, and process e-waste donations and materials.
- Use the company database for accurate inventory tracking and reporting.
- Monitor and manage donations and inventory to ensure proper record-keeping.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to address discrepancies.
- Implement warehouse management systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Organize warehouse storage to optimize space, including operating a pallet jack as needed (training provided).
- Assist in the coordination of outbound shipments (domestic and international).
- Ensure proper handling, placement, and disposal of electronic materials when necessary.
- Be a collaborative team member, assisting with various warehouse tasks as needed.
- Work closely with staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations across departments.
Qualifications
- Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with inventory tracking and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move materials (up to 30 lbs).
- Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to be trained).
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible recycling.
Working Conditions/Environment: Primarily in a warehouse setting, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
